Why Downflare?
Cloudflare is a useful service, but outages are frequent and their official status page is unusable. Mixing maintenance with outages (along with an API that only returns 50 events and incomplete component labels) makes it tedious to analyze reliability.
Downflare gives a clearer view of what's going on now, and trends over time.
However, keep in mind that not all outages are posted to their status page, especially localized ones. Use distributed monitoring tools if you need a complete picture of your availability.
